God doesn't waste an experience. A short story.
Over the past 10 years, I launched over 10 startups. I didn't fail any of them. I just left them without success. Now I know what I should do in the next 10 years.
Let me tell you a short story...
My entrepreneurial experience.
As every Christian should, I have searched for my calling for many years. I was sure that it must contribute to the Great Commission of Matthew 28 and Mark 16 — to disciple people and nations. However, I was unable to connect the dots between God's plans and my plans.
Over the past 10 years, I launched over 10 startups:
- Local Amazon for Armenia
- Usability measurement system for UX specialists
- Neuroscience-based UX research platform
- AI chatbot coach for startup founders
- AI-powered fast demo designer for startup founders
- And more...
I didn't fail any of them. I just left them without success. They were all valid business models. Further, I generated revenue with some of them. Since I didn't care enough about the problems I solved, I wasn't motivated to continue them. I always felt like I was doing something wrong.
Until one day, when I met Gerald Duran, a servant of God. His book "HisPlan MyPlan" & his teachings have completely changed my mindset, and helped me to develop my faith, find my calling, and connect the dots…
BibleLines and Great Commission
For almost 2 years, I have been brooding the idea of creating an interactive digital archive of Bible commentaries. The idea was never a priority to me, because I was always busy with my job and with other "cool" startup ideas. But when my mind was changed due to Gerald's teaching and I started to understand how to find my calling, I received an exact mission from God to start the change. The change of increasing the percentage of Christians that understand the Word...
Now I know what I should do in the next 10 years. I received an exact mission from God to start the change. The change of increasing the percentage of Christians that understand the Word...
It's the first time in my life that I'm fully confident. What for? I consider it more than a startup for me, it is a calling and a mission of my life. It is an assignment I have received from my God.
My life has taught me many things. These 2 are my favorites:
- Faith
- Startups
The best part: these 2 fields are amazingly connected. The Bible answers all entrepreneur's challenges. Moreover, business is Biblically based in many aspects, including:
- Serving people by solving a problem
- Believing in a vision and staying faithful
- Leading the team as a servant
- And many more...
The difference is that there are 6000+ promises in the Bible you can rely on. It is unfortunately not known to all entrepreneurs. I became aware of it recently, and I started the BibleLines to help entrepreneurs understand it as well.
Love You,
- Perch.
